The guidelines shown below are designed to help you get the best service from the limited resources of the Soar Valley Surgeries Practice under Dr G S Patel MBBS and Dr S. Patel , and to help us to deliver it.
Interacting with the Practice:
- Please give 2 working days notice for repeat prescriptions. Note that they cannot be accepted over the telephone.
- Blood tests are done at Nurse and Plebotomy Clinics by appointment.
- All clinics eg., Asthma, diabetes, antenatal, health promotion, vaccinations, minor surgery & medicals by appointment only.
- Please note all evening surgeries at Sutton Bonington, East Leake and Hathern are by appointments only.
- For all home visits - ring 01509 672 229 before 10am. For all other enquiries, please ring during surgery hours.
- For out-of-hours calls - ring 01509 672 229 and you will be given the following number: 07860 274 234. In particular, during nights, weekends and bank holidays you will be given a Nottingham emergency number: 0845 603 1466 . Please call this number if your problems cannot wait until surgeries open.
- In an emergency, dial 999 and call an ambulance.
- Practice nurse will carry out blood tests, smears, vaccinations, travel vaccinations, ear syringing, contraceptive advice, HRT, asthma, diabetes and health promotion. Please phone your surgery to make appointments. Our nurse will also give you Registration Health checks, routine blood pressure checks, medication reviews and contraceptive pills. She may be able to help you with minor ailments, so please make use of nurse's clinic as advertised above.
